For hikers on the Via Francigena, it's extemely close to the trail (as in, right outside the door). It's filled with character and is a real charmer. Our host prepared a simple, but hearty, meal for us which was exactly what we needed. A swimming pool is available. For hikers in need of washing their clothes, the sinks are large and a clothes line is available. We had the entire upper floor to ourselves, so it was very quiet and private. (Getting up there after a long day's hike was graon inducing, but whaddya gonna do?)"
