- "every thing ❤️" - "Mandarin Oriental in Doha was arguably the best hotel we’ve stayed in (have stayed in several 5* hotels around the world). The service was exceptional across the board from check in to room service to breakfast to the concierge, all fantastically attentive. The room was luxurious as you’d expect with a Mandarin Oriental, extremely clean and spacious. The room was cleaned on request and to an excellent standard. Breakfast buffet had a great variety of options, not too busy either. Additionally, we had room service, which again tasted great. The location is very good in the downtown area of Doha, plenty of restaurants nearby and walking distance to Souq Waqif. I would however note, there is a valet service outside and therefore, large congregations of locals do tend to the gather in the evening times - not an issue for us but you may want a quieter entrance to the hotel.. I don’t often write reviews but I had to for Mandarin. I would highly highly recommend it and we will absolutely use this hotel again in a heartbeat. I am now inclined to always stay at the Mandarin chain wherever I go. Thank you again to the staff for their great hospitality."
