- "The service was exceptional! Loris, Sylvia, Yvette and more couldn’t do enough for you The rooms were awesome, and the private patio overlooking the sea, where you had breakfast was beautiful . The food was also scrumptious!" - "Sangany Lodge is a real paradise. The chalets are wonderful, well kept, super clean (cleaned twice daily, quite amazing). We got a very abundant breakfast served by the sea in front of our room with croissants, bread, coffee, fresh fruit, eggs, freshly pressed juice etc. The restaurant is nice and we always had nice fresh fish or Zebu. Internet connection is very good, if you need it. The garden is beautifully kept by gardners, and you will be able to enjoy ibiscus, frangipani, and many other beautiful flowers. The staff (from the owner Yvonne, to Loris, Mina, Sylviane, Martine...) are incredibly friendly, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Yvonne helped us organising trips around Nosy Be. They lent ud snorkles and respirators to swim and look at the amazing coral reef. We also had a great massage by the sea. We hope to go back here at some point. absolutely fantastic."

The absolute highlight was to have 2 lots of baby turtles born on our beach … just WOW! Every day there is organized snorkeling from the boat but there is coral reef around the island and you can snorkel in front of bungalow too. We did a nice boat trip to Mitsio island where you can see real life of friendly local people. One day during sunset appeared turtle , made nest and layed eggs only a couple of meters from us . The whole stay was an excelente experience for us . Thanks a lot for such a nice holiday. Hopefully we could come back !"

- "This was BY FAR the best accommodation we had in Madagascar-Main-Island! The complex is beautiful and very well maintained down to the last detail, especially the spacious, well-tended garden. The location is excellent, particularly quiet and just a few minutes from the entrance to the national park. Our host Hervé and his team took great care of us. Hervé cooked up a big meal (also with local ingredients) for us every day. The food is unrivalled, he is a true ‘chef de cuisine’. The food is absolutely fantastic and is characterised by European, Malagasy and Japanese influences. The only difference to a toque-awarded restaurant is that Hervé's portions are large and the price-performance ratio is right ;) My wife is a vegetarian, Hervé has come up with something every day (!) and cooked delicious dishes for her. The breakfast was sumptuous and excellent. He also prepared a packed lunch for us once for the national park, delicious blue cheese sandwiches with mustard (thank you!). Hervé also has a great selection of wines, spirits and cocktails. The main house is extremely cool and fancy (fusion/style mix, as described above), there is also a very nice lounge and a terrace and also WiFi available there. I will recommend this accommodation to anyone travelling around Ankaranana /Diego Suarez! p.s.: Of course, I also read the (few) negative reviews beforehand, can't understand them at all and am wondering, if those people had simply mixed up the accommodation (or what else could be the reason for such ratings)."
