Good location at walking distance from downtown." - "The hotel was a lovely boutique hotel, the suite we had was a wonderful, high beamed ceiling room with great views. There isn't a restaurant but they will provide snacks along the lines of bitterballen, tempura prawns, houmous etc, so sufficient if you're not looking for an evening out. There is a restaurant, "Bij Isabella" which is a 2 minute walk and well worth a visit - simple food cooked really well. The hotel is within the Fort Isabella complex which is lovely and spacious and offers short walks in the evening. Also you can walk through the woods to see Camp Vught, a reconstruction of the Nazi concentration camp that used to be there - although a reconstruction, the audio guides tell a very moving story of what happened there - somebody told me it was a must visit for everyone and they were not wrong. Can also walk into Den Bosch (about 30 minutes) which we really enjoyed. Will hopefully revisit one day as 2 nights proved insufficient. By the way, the Hieronimus Bosch museum in Den Bosch was outstanding if you happen to like weird art like I do!"

- "The place is absolutely charming, a very rare combination of tasteful interpretation of the ancient architecture and modern comfort. The location was perfect - close to the train station, close to the old city center, close to the Singel, close to some restaurants and a well stocked supermarket. The garden was wonderful and in full bloom (in June). I loved the split apartment we stayed in, it provided a nice separation between the living space and the sleeping one. The space was large enough, the apartment perfectly equipped, the bed was super-comfortable. The 2 toilets were a much appreciated plus. :) The communication with the hotel was smooth, prompt and the people were very accommodating. The breakfast - plentiful, diverse, tasty and healthy - may be delivered at your door, at a time of your choice."

The hotel is very stylish, unlike those regular chain hotels, the atmosphere is very pleasant and I liked the decorations in the hotel.
