The sunset over the mountains is a picture to behold. The boat trip to get to the hotel is really rather special: serenaded by a Rajasthan musician, rose petals that flutter over your head as you arrive and a parasol, held by the doorman, to protect you from the sun. Our room was perfect, we had everything we needed. Plenty of fresh towels and an exceptionally comfortable bed. The customer service was excellent, nothing is ever too much. A big thank you to Kashish, Gaurav and Deepak for looking after us so well and making our birthday so special. The restaurants are a treat with the most spectacular views. The food is delicious, especially the fish curry and the shoulder of lamb. I loved sitting on the patio and feeling the breeze from the lake whilst enjoying a tantalising breakfast. I thoroughly enjoyed listening and watching the evening performance by the Rajasthan musicians and dancers. This really did make this an interesting Indian experience. Finally, the swimming pool is a dream. We spent quite a few hours swimming and relaxing by it. Thank you for everything, we will be back! India is a very special place with great people."
