- "A beautiful well maintained property with lots of charm. The room at the ground floor was too dark for us and the staff immediately agreed to move us to another room on the first floor. The room was entirely furnished with wicker art craft with an amazing “monkey cabinet”… the staff was nice and responsive. The pool was clean. It is also a beautiful hacienda, laid out in traditional style around courtyards and lush greenery. And two pools. The staff were very responsive to our requests. One drawback is a lack of things you might expect on a breakfast menu, such as fresh squeezed orange or grapefruit juice. The breakfast overall was a disappointment and we wouldn't recommend it, despite the delightful setting. Also, the bar wasn't open at convenient hours, such as the end of a touring afternoon, when a margarita or something similar would have been very welcome. Overall, though, there is much to recommend at Casa Azul. The Mexican decor in our room was spectacular."
