- "This hotel is one of the best hotels so far. It is a new hotel with great staff. The rooms are very luxurious, the same goes for the outdoor area, the pools. The cocktails are so so so good! As for the food, it is a very refined cuisine. For certain dishes you have to be a fan of cinnamon, which is typical for Greece. This hotel is ideal if you want to relax. If we may explain small tips: we had room 1001 and missed a few wall hooks or coat racks outside the closet or shower. There is a small pouf but no mirror at seat height. We also missed a long mirror to look at outfits. These are not a must, but can be a positive addition. We want to thank Alexander for the great service and great conversations. You can also use all the facilities at the sister hotel, about a 5 minute transfer by shuttle which was available on tap at no extra charge! A much bigger but still beautiful complex, you get the best of both worlds and i would highly recommend the spa facilities. A car is needed if you wish to explore Crete more extensively but Rethymno and Chania are both close by, bus or taxi easy to access. Above all the level of service, discretion and professionalism of all the staff was the star attraction in this hotel for me. They cannot do enough to make your stay perfect and truly memorable.
