- "Private secluded and romantic" - "Where to start...? La Alondra is an oasis of peace right off the main road between Corrientes and Resistencia, shortly before the bridge that crosses the Paraná river. This arterial connection between two provinces is extremely busy and noisy. Then, you enter La Alondra and all of the noise and bustle is gone. The guesthouse is refinedly furnished and teleports you back to a time when carriages and horses were the norm and time passed only half as fast as today. The rooms are absolutely beautiful and spacious, clean and fully equipped, the beds excellent. Staff is friendly and helpful. Indoor guarded parking avaliable. Central to the guesthouse is a very nice patio garden with open air pool. A very special mention for the excellent Bistro where you can enjoy a delicious meal with some fine Argentinian wines at a very reasonable price. The kitchen has a nice vegetable-oriented twist and vegetarians should find something to their liking. A evening stroll to the riverside to see the sun set behind the bridge is highly recommended. In short: we would have loved to stay (much) longer!"
