Accessible only by cable car during winter, this hotel is in Planachaux, in the Portes du Soleil ski resort at 5.9 feet above sea level. There is a sauna, a restaurant and a terrace overlooking Les Dents du Midi. In winter, only the Grand Paradis – Planachaux ski elevators offer access to Hôtel Plein Ciel Hotel. Once at Planachaux, you can ski down to the hotel in 5 minutes. Rooms are simple and all have free Wi-Fi. All have private bathroom facilities and views of the Alps. The restaurant at Hotel Plein Ciel serves traditional regional food, including raclette dishes. Breakfast is buffet style. There is also a bar with billiards and 2 lounge rooms, with a fireplace and library as well as a Home Cinéma salon in the evenings.
