- "We LOVED our stay with Marco in his hotel. Its been in his family for generations and you can tell that when you stay, he cares what your experience is like and goes out of his way to be helpful. So many occasions i find him helping me out (de-icing our car, helping me park, weather outlooks, suggestions for when lifts were closed). You're greeted every morning by a musical soundtrack at breakfast that adds to the hotels personality, Marco also wears some traditional attire! Guests all seem to subscribe to the recipe of a stay, and therefore people get on and enjoy the environment. Rooms are a decent size, clean, warm when needed, cool when needed, water for showers in plentiful supply every day, quiet past 10pm every night. There's a short walk to the lifts with your kit, but its no more than 5 mins tops and you can see where you're going from the hotel, it just takes 5 mins as you're in ski boots. There's lots on your doorstep food wise, so its a perfect place to have a base for your ski trip. Marco was incredibly kind on our last evening, and our son won't forget the gift he was given. Thank you."

Breuil-Cervinia’s golf course is located close by the hotel and the ski lifts are also just a short walk from here, making the Bucaneve convenient in winter and summer. Inside the Bucaneve you will find a cafe and a piano bar where you can enjoy evening aperitifs or after-dinner cocktails. The hotel restaurant serves a mixture of Mediterranean and typical mountain fare. During winter season the hotel may only be bookable for long stays or weekly stays.

- "Lovely and warm stuff, great location, beautiful design" - "We booked a few days in Cervinia mid December to take advantage of the excellent skiing, due to lots of snow. We spent four nights at the Hotel Bucaneve on a bed and breakfast basis. Unfortunately, on arrival to Italy the airline lost our luggage, which was not returned to us until the night before we were due to fly home. Thankfully, the staff at Hotel Bucaneve could not have been kinder to us and more helpful, particularly Sabrina and Renato. The room we stayed in was clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed and we had a lovely view looking up at the ski slopes. Breakfast was plentiful with a good choice and very good coffee first thing in the morning. We used the spa every day of our stay, which was really relaxing with a good sized pool and jacuzzi. There were also different showers, as well as a couple of saunas and a big steam room. There were lots of loungers to relax on and read a book and the waterbed was so comfortable you had to be careful not to fall asleep on it. We didn’t eat at the hotel, as we tried the many good restaurants in town, which the hotel was only a few minutes walk away from. We did enjoy a drink every evening in the very cosy bar, with its lovely fire and comfortable armchairs. The bar was never busy and when we came back to the hotel after an evening out, Renato was always there to get us a drink (he makes the best Aperol Spritz in town!). Despite our lost luggage we did manage to get out to do some skiing, the hotel has a spacious boot room and is a very convenient few minutes walk away to the nearest chairlift. Despite not having the best start to our holiday, we really enjoyed our stay in Cervinia thanks to the Hotel Bucaneve and its staff. We will definitely return to Cervinia to stay again at the Hotel Bucaneve, just hopefully with more clothes this time."
