The rooms are comfy, quiet and relaxing, with wooden beams and stonework, spacious bathrooms, great AC (a must). If you can splurge, I highly recommend booking the Premium Suite with garden and jacuzzi (with one caveat - see downsides), perfect to cool off from the Colombian heat; the shared pool is also a bit on the small side. The hotel is ideally located at the heart of the walled city of Cartagena. We explored many restaurants from there (I recommend Uma Cantina and Carmen for the foodies and Tacos del Gordo for a more “hole in the wall” experience). Alma – the hotel’s restaurant – also serves delicious a la carte breakfast and Colombian dishes for lunch and dinner. The staff is very professional and charming. Overall, a great pick in a city with many options."

So close to everything you would want to visit in the walled city and a very short walk to Getsemani.
