The best was the restaurant - mentioned in the Michelin guide (I am happy it does not have a star yet because it makes it just as good and more approachable). The hotel is buried in the bustling suburb of Le Bouscat - bikes, cars, kids going to school - so be prepared with your car to navigate the little busy streets.
