The Belvedere also has a new spa with Turkish bath, sauna, therapeutic showers, and relaxation area. Face and body treatments are available in the spa area. Rooms, suites, and apartments are elegant and stylish, and each includes air conditioning and satellite TV. Most have a balcony or terrace with views of the grounds or the lake. The panoramic restaurant has a beautiful terrace with a superb view of the lake and mountains. It is open between April and October for lunch and dinner. A sweet breakfast is served daily. Belvedere Hotel is a short walk from central Bellagio, a 15-minute walk from the marina, Villa Melzi and Villa Serbelloni.

The property features impressive staircases and frescoed ceilings. The grand hall, the Salone Reale, features splendid chandeliers in Murano glass. Rooms are spacious and elegant, and each offers air conditioning, an LCD TV with satellite channels, and a mini-bar. The décor is classic, with soft carpeted floors, wooden furniture, and unique details. Some rooms offer views of the lake. The Mistral Restaurant was awarded with a Michelin star in 2005, and offers the chance to eat on a refined terrace with breathtaking views. La Goletta serves regional specialties in an informal setting. A full International breakfast buffet is served daily. The spa is available for wellness and beauty treatments. The smallest details were important; from doors being opened every time we came and went, to the delicate fragrance of the linens. Each morning, breakfast was served in the grand ballroom. We had an exceptional dinner at Mistral. We enjoyed sitting in the salon and listening to music in the evening. The concierge arranged for a private boat tour of Como. We very much enjoyed being there during shoulder season. Would highly recommend going at this time (March-May) and avoiding crowds that are undoubtedly there during the warmer months. They have a beautiful indoor pool and relaxing spa if swimming outdoors is not possible. It's always lovely having a coffee or a cocktail at the outdoor bar overlooking beautiful lake Como."
