There are model ships on display, a beautiful fireplace in the entrance of the hotel, an open courtyard in the middle of the hotel, a pool, spa and cabanas in another middle section of the hotel, a fireplace designed heater with holographic image of a crackling fire, exceptionally comfortable pillows with medium thickness. The people running this hotel are doing an exceptional job and the hotel facilities and rooms are so well appointed and maintained. You will have everything you need here to have a pleasant and memorable stay. I came to Huntington Beach on my own to visit a friend and stayed in a partial sea view room. The people working there were so wonderful and helpful and made sure I felt welcome, comfortable and happy. I stayed in a partial view room unfortunately it was very partial and my view was over the road and valet station. So to see the views I had to go on my balcony and crane my head to the left. To catch the sunset in its full splendor the rooftop bar and the pool deck were superb. I was staying there in November so it was already chilly in the evening and they have little gas heaters everywhere to keep you warm. The rooms are nicely decorated the finishes are on the cheaper side but the ultimate looks is clean and modern, the bed is super comfy and the noise insulation is VERY GOOD. I couldn't hear any road noise or a peep from the neighboring rooms. Normally you can hear the heavy doors closing in a hotel and you don't hear that at all. So if you are a light sleep like me you will get a great night's sleep here. I loved the large walk-in shower and separate toilet. Those are generally key features for me in a nicer hotel bathroom and one of the reasons I chose to stay here, I hate shower tubs and cramped bathrooms. All the food and beverages I had during my stay were delicious and high quality. The breakfast room was excellent and had a menu that will please all tastes, the rooftop bar small plates were divine, and the little convenience shop has a great selection of items from coffee and pastries to fruit cups. They even sell sunscreen, headache tablets, champagne, souvenirs, etc. it's got everything!!"
