We were less than a 5 min walk to China Town and not many more minutes to Tha Phae Gate and lots of other cool places to visit, eat, shop and drink within walking distance. The room was part of the wine bar, not the main hotel which is next door, but you have the freedom to come and go via a key card and our room was situated on a side passage, which meant we had no traffic, firework or people noise. If you book a room in the main hotel with a balcony you are going to be looking out onto a busy and noisy main street. As others have said you have a small fridge and all the stuff in the fridge and snacks outside of it are free of charge. Yes, really all of it is free. Spotless room, great wifi, robes, slippers, toiletries, who could ask for more. There is a 7-Eleven about 2 mins walk. Turn left on leaving the hotel. The area has plenty going on just outside the hotel grounds, there are bars and restaurants just at the end of the driveway and a good buzz in the evening. The pool was never too crowded, with plenty of space to relax and unwind. While not many people were ordering poolside drinks, a member of staff would periodically bring bottles of still water for all guests. There's a great little glass box with a gym with the latest equipment including a good weighs selection. The staff are truly exceptional and offer a very personal service, you definitely feel like a person with a name and not a room number. A special shoutout to Vee and Maly who were so pleasant and welcoming and made our experience even better."
