- "This is a charming small hotel in the centre of Aix-en-Provence - ideal of walking to shops and restaurants. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the lovely owners who explained the history of the house and how Pauline Bonaparte the sister of Napoleon Bonaparte had been a frequent visitor. The decor is very unique, stylish and eclectic, with modern art and furniture sitting comfortably alongside beautiful antiques. This ambience is carried through to each of the individually decorated bedrooms. Our bedroom came with a large bathroom with impressive stand alone bath and spacious shower. Our bedroom was beautifully appointed with a large and super comfortable bed as well as a statement large leather rocking chair. We especially loved the gorgeous mix of lighting - from intricate antique glass chandelier in the bathroom to fun modern bedside lights which came to life at night giving the room a lovely cosy yet quirky glow. Breakfast is served in the main sitting room and comes with fresh fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice and delicious croissants and pain au chocolat. We loved our special stay here and would definitely come back."
