The room was great - part medieval, part modern (we had an arrow slot in our bathroom to defend from marauders :) and you could close out all the light if that's how you like to sleep (like me) or have the windows open to the quiet countryside and listen to the birds. The rest of the castle/guest house was nicely restored as well and the grounds and pool made for a wonderful escape to the country. It's more of a guest house than a hotel or B&B - a very nice breakfast buffet is provided but there are no staff in the hotel overnight (though the owner lives on the property nearby) and you have to drive for lunches or dinners. Highly recommended nonetheless!"
