- "Where to begin? From the moment we arrived, our experience at Finca Serena was absolutely perfect. Every member of staff were just wonderful and balanced professionalism with friendliness easily. Our room was spectacular, with plenty of space and stunning decor. We ate at the restaurant both nights and the food was beautiful. Very clever to change the menu each evening so you can eat there again without struggling to find new menu items. We slept perfectly, ate well, and were sad to leave after 2 nights. It’s also worth noting we are a married gay couple and at no point were we made to feel other during our stay. This is sadly not always the case so credit again to this hotel. Also: the hotel operate a scheme where through donations they offer job opportunities to people who would otherwise not be working (in this case a fabulous cleaner) which is a beautiful thing to do. Fresh crusty bread, just the way we like it. We always had breakfast outside. And cozy home-style dinners. Not everyday, but we really looked forward to them. We were very happy not to have to drive anywhere and look for a restaurant. Nice pool with sunbeds and umbrellas. But we used to go to the sea - which is just 10 minutes away. A fine sandy beautiful beach Sa Canova, in the small town Son Serra de Marina. It has very beautiful dunes with Mediterranean plants and walking tracks. Several good restaurants in town right on the waterfront. Ideal for families with children. The sea is slowly deepening, clean white sand and blue water. No big hotels, only small cozy villas."
