First of all communication was very easy and Hisham helped us in every possible way via email. The camp location is perfect - right in the middle of the desert with a great view of the stars at night, great stories and lots of laughs with the friendliest staff ever. - "Owners Faisal and Ruta are super hosts. Super helpful, respond quickly to messages and are flexible and very kind, warm and cheerful people who also speak good English, so we were able to chat with them about every thinkable subject. They are inviting without coming across as intrusive or making you feel uncomfortable. We enjoyed the plentiful, delicious breakfast and were also very spoiled with Ruta's delicious baking and cooking skills. And their 2 dogs Ruta and Sala are also such sweethearts. The rooms are beautiful with an extra high ceiling. They are spacious, beautifully decorated and super clean! The bed is fantastic, large with a lovely mattress. There is air conditioning and a refrigerator, a kettle, plenty of storage space, shampoo, handsoap, a large TV with movie channel, excellent wifi, bottles of water and coffee/tea and I think we are still forgetting some stuff. Pleasantly many places available in the room to recharge our devices. Bathroom also beautiful, finished with care and beautiful materials. The shower gives nice warm and plenty of water and there are plenty of clean and big towels. On the outdoor terrace there are several lovely chairs and also a multi-person swing bench where we rested and looked out over the red sea. Amazing view, even more special with sunset just in front of the room. Car can be parked in front of the door. Next time in Aqaba we will definitely book here again. We did not feel unsafe for a minute during our entire trip in Jordan from November 23, 2023 to December 3, 2023. Thank you Faisal and Ruta for the great experience. The camp location was not too far from the main road, very reachable from the main village of Wadi Rum, and nicely located by the nature reserve and some of its towering sandstone cliffs. Their bubble tents had great view of the reserve. The location is matched by the amazing hospitality of the hosts, that made us feel very welcomed and taken care of. Muhammad was such a lovely bundle of joy that made our stay all the more enjoyable. The dinner was also a spectacle as they gather all the guests to witness the reveal from their underground stove.
