The vaulted-ceiling room is spacious, elegant, beautifully decorated with antique and modern furnitures, the bed is very confortable. The bathroom is modern with a big shower and all necessary amenities, fluffy towels and slippers. Everything was pristine clean. Breakfast was amazing, with a-la-carte choice of locally-sourced sweet and salty products and housemade delicacies by Rafaella (the mum-in-chief of the house :-) ). Rafaella made us taste the fresh riccota she uses. It was still hot from being made and we had never tasted something so good ! Breakfast is served either on the rooftop terrace with a breathtaking view on the gulf of Gallipoli or in the main foyer, surrounded by centuries-old frescoes ! The palace is ideally located in the heart of the old town, steps away from the beauties of Gallipoli (cathedral, churches, old palaces...), restaurants and bars, the beach and parkings. Yet, we found the place serene and peaceful for a good night sleep. But the heart and soul of Pascaraymondo Palace definitely resides in the amazing family who runs the place, Mimmo and Rafaella and their two sons Giuseppe and Fernando.
