Lots of comfortable areas to read and relax. We also took the cable car up the mountain for some stunning hiking, and cycled round a nearby lake. We had our own bikes - the free ones to borrow are not great but the bike shop next door has v reasonable rates. Fabulous food in the half board offering, with a selection of choices including healthy options available"

The food was exceptional. It is a family hotel but I stayed as a solo traveler for 1 night because the price and reviews were good, I then stayed an extra 2 nights because I felt like royalty. This is how a hotel is supposed to be run. So great to see this sort of service still exists at such great value for money. I hope this family can keep this hotel running for future generations."
