- "We enjoyed the staff, which treated us like family and accomodated our schedule for breakfast and purchasing wine outside of the operating hours. The landscape and facilities were maintained really well by keeping the traditional architecture and ensuring the grounds were clean and accessible." - "The room is very nice, the staff very friendly, the food very good. The view on the winery is beautiful." - "From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming. We were welcomed with a lovely glass of Rose. As we were celebrating a special wedding anniversary, we were spoiled after dinner with an amazing heart-shaped chocolate cake. The wine tour/tasting was excellent. The attention to detail to ensure wines selected for tasting were not ones we had previously had during our stay."

- "I have the habit of reading several reviews in order to make my decision to book a place. I was puzzled by the reviews, but our main goal was to visit a VINEYARD!! That said, I began to judge the place by their vineyards. It is immaculate, and I could see how well they look after their plants. The passion and the high standard for the final product was evident. The flowers and the vegetables garden is well kept. There is plenty of attention to details not only inside our room, but on the entire property, not just where guests can see. They welcomed us, with a Rose wine, made with Syrah grapes. We wanted a quiet, rural place with good wine and I got that and more. They are passionate about making quality wines. I have stayed at Copacabana Palace, Ritz Carlton Miami, Peninsula Hotel NYC and many top hotels, and I would never compare places. I knew I was going to the country side of Portugal, where life is slow...Portugal is like my husband, amazing, yet simple in so many ways. We loved the fact that the property has 10 rooms, I think? It is super private. You feel like going back in time. The bed was fabulous, awesome size, great linen, good shower pressure, attention to details, the fresh rosemary touch was beyond creative, so sweet. I noticed the fabulous lights in the spacious seating room, the gazebo by the pond, was romantic and peaceful. It is definitely a place to disconnect, to look at people's eyes, hear the birds, observe the roses mingled with strawberries, or look at the several collard greens planted closer to the cilantro, or the hundreds Aragonez grapes planted like well trained soldiers. It is a beautiful experience. We love it. Thee owners care, and that is priceless!!"
