From the moment you arrive at the airport, until the last step, everything is organized as a perfect 10/10. Where to begin? The resort is new and probably the most modern in the Maldives. I thought UAE had the best hospitality, but no place has even come close to the professionalism of the staff here. The food is top-notch. I ate the best steak, breakfast, and much more. I would write what I recommend, but probably it's worth trying anything. Even though you have to pay for most of the activities, including for simply using the tennis field, I strongly recommend doing the organised activities, because the experience is unique and incomparable. I am very sorry that I skipped many of them, until I had the first ones and realized how they do things. The houses are impeccable, very inspirational in terms of architecture and design. I could write more, but... will leave just this: if you have a chance to try this resort, even for just 4-5 days, try it and it will inspire you for life about how things should be done. I think it is because of her that the house reef is teeming with life! I wasn't a fan of the beach villa because ours had a musty smell. But we were moved to the sand villa and it was perfect! That is really the only complaint I have of the resort. Mangela and I am so sorry, I forget the name of our friend who is the office manager...they helped us with the room change and checked on us daily to make sure we were happy."

- "We had the best-ever family holiday in Taj Exotica. The best check-in experience where we were taken direct from boat to our villa. The ocean villa itself was breathtakingly amazing. We had fruit, chocolates and drinks waiting for us in the room. My kids had absolutely nothing to complain about which is the highest level of praise in our family. The food was amazing with a large menu. The island itself is beautiful with a perfect mix of sandy white beaches and a massive lagoon around it. We had very choppy boat rides both in and out of the resort and it was raining for half of the stay but we still had the time of our lives. We also had a stay at a different resort right before coming to Taj where I am a Platinum member but the experience at Taj made our previous stay feel ordinary. Based on our stay in 2 other resorts, I would recommend Taj Exotica to anyone visiting Maldives for the first time. It provides the complete package and the full Maldives experience. Both beach villas and ocean villas are nice but if you have to pick one, go with an ocean villa. I had doubts about spending so much money on one holiday and many others will do too. However, the cost and the logistics are totally worth it. If you are in doubt or considering other cheaper options, my advice is to stop your search and go ahead with Taj. - "Amazing food, beautiful rooms! (Depending on which one you’re given, the quality of the beach in front will vary a lot, sunrise is not that nice, rocky and yellow flag conditions all the time. However sunset villas - wow! What a difference! It’s calm and beautiful, some villas have their own private patch of beach, some don’t! (Ours did we were lucky) The food was amazing! In particular we liked Asian night. I wouldn’t bother going to the Japanese restaurant but the sea food restaurant is lovely and worth a visit. The island is not too big not too small. Felt like we had our own private island sometimes! Vibe was good. We travelled with a 2 year old and he adored Kay in kids club! We also went diving and got lucky with an eagle ray! The house reef is on the doorstep and really quite lovely - no need to go lower than 12 m either!"

We loved the french Falhumaa restaurant the best. We went in July and were fortunate to only have one rainy day during our week-long stay.
