There are gardens, a rooftop terrace and a heated infinity pool and all with the most incredible view out to sea and of the neighbouring islands Stromboli and Panarea. The staff were lovely and went above and beyond to help us have the perfect stay, helping us organise activities and giving us advise on what to do on the island. Just amazing! - "Staying in this charming family owned hotel was definitely the highlight of my 3 weeks in Sicily! The family who run the hotel was really helpful and gave me good tips what to do on the island, they made me feel very comfortable, they even let me stay one extra night after closing the hotel. My room was really clean, nicely decorated and had a stunning seaview with views to Filicudi Alicudi. From the terazza you could enjoy the sunset every evening while sipping your aperitivo. Breakfast was great and filling. Pollara as a location is a really small place with not much services (I think my hotel was the only one operating there during my stay and it was closing as well for the winter). I was also travelling during the low season, so I don't how it is during the hight season. But I didn't really mind the lack of services because this kind of peaceful and authentic place away from tourist massed was something I was looking for. Also there was amazing restaurant at the hotel that was visited by people from other parts of the island as well, so I was not left hungry! Also there's minibus going quite frequently to other villages on the island where there are supermarket, some restaurants and farmacy etc. but renting a moped or a car would definitely give you more freedom. Famous and beautiful pollara beach is at 15 min walking distance. All in all I enjoyed a lot and left the place with wistful feelings. Grazie mille!"

It's surrounded by a small wooden deck with pool chairs and beach side service. We enjoyed several rounds of apertifs and appetizers. Our ocean view room was unreal with the window opening up towards the sea. The A/C was strong and they even have complimentary water on the back deck with a small ice machine. We highly recommend renting a Vespa to get around the island, Enza's was inexpensive and they were friendly people.
